Sandra McEntire, Tellico Village resident and director of The Elf Project for a Child’s Christmas, is already organizing volunteers who will help parents struggling to provide Christmas for children ages 12 and under.
The Elf Project matches applicant parents with a volunteer shopper, who meets the parent and pays up to $50 for presents for each child approved.
