Boating and lake activities are a large part of the Tellico Village experience.
There are three marinas available to serve Village residents with docking facilities located at the Yacht Club, Tanasi Basin and the Kahite neighborhood. All dock areas are gated and there are security cameras in most areas. The docks all have running water and electricity for casual use. Gasoline is available on Dock G at the Yacht Club.
Across the three locations there are a total of 630 boat slips for residents to lease and 31 personal watercraft docking spaces (jet ski slips). Rest rooms are accessible at all three marinas and docking space is also available for guest boaters.
The Village marinas provide easy access to one of the community’s greatest assets – Tellico Lake.
Kayak Launch and Storage Facility
For residents who do not have space to conveniently store their kayaks or means to transport their vessels to the lake, the community has a kayak launch and storage facility located on I Dock in the Yacht Club Basin Marina. The 64-rack facility is covered, lighted, locked and surrounded by a dock to ceiling fence to secure the kayaks. Steps from the storage area are four state-of-the-art launch platforms which makes entering and exiting a kayak a totally dry experience. They are one of few such platforms in Greater Knoxville.
