Tellico Village has won five Bliss Awards and is one of only two communities in the southeast to do so.
The Bliss Award is presented by Real Estate Scorecard (RES) which visits and rates 350 plus southeastern master planned communities each year. RES also annually asks the residents of the visited communities to rate the places they live. RES then takes the resident responses and combines its ratings to determine the Bliss Award winners. Over the past seven years more than 2,600 Tellico Village households told RES what they thought of their community.

Happiest Community of the Year 2014 Bliss Award Winner
In January 2014, RES honored the community with the highest of awards, the 2014 Happiest Community of the Year.
Over 490 Tellico Village property owners voiced their optimism and jubilation about our superior East Tennessee community. Tellico Village’s level of happy is reflected with a near perfect 97 out of 100 score by Tellico Village property owners on RealEstateScorecard.com
Sounds of joy ring throughout Tellico Village with such comments as, “It is a demi-Eden. We greet each morning with, ‘Ah, another day in Paradise!’”

Best Tennessee Community of the Year 2013 Bliss Award Winner
Tellico Villagers already knew they lived in the best community in Tennessee. In January, 2013 their belief was confirmed. RealEstateScorecard.com, a leader in online real estate reviews, announced that the 2013 Bliss Award Winner for Best Tennessee Community of the Year was Tellico Village.
RES reported in its announcement release the Bliss Award results were accumulated after 197 on-site visits of master planned communities in the Southeast. The organization, CEO/Founder, Margie Casey, visited Tellico Village in April, 2012 to evaluate the community.
In its formal review of the Village, Real Estate Scorecard commented, “Tellico Village is a great place to consider if you’re searching where to retire in Tennessee. Relax and worries be gone. Serenity and warm friendships can now be a part of your everyday life at this Tennessee lake community.”
