Five Reasons to Live in an Active Adult Community

While Tellico Village is not an age restricted community, the average property owner is 62 years of age. Considering nearly 9,000 people call Tellico Village home, you’re sure to connect with people of all ages who are young at heart. Moving to a community filled with people close in age means you’re guaranteed to have at least two things in common with your new neighbors: choosing Tellico Village as your retirement destination and walking through similar points in life, which we hope results in a seamless integration into your new adventure of retirement.

If you move to Tellico Village, another thing you may have in common with your fellow residents is an appetite for an active lifestyle. Tellico Village is proud to offer extensive amenities to property owners and their guests. The Yacht Club offers spectacular lake and mountain views from its peninsula on Tellico Lake. The 20,400 square-foot building includes a lounge and dining area and multiple event spaces. Yacht Club also provides guest docks for boaters who wish to visit the Yacht Club by water. In addition to the Yacht Club’s Blue Heron Restaurant, each of the golf clubhouses includes a restaurant, all with different atmospheres and menus. Each Recreation facility is unique when it comes to fitness classes and wellness offerings, but all three facilities offer men’s and women’s locker rooms, racquet sport courts, and a pool.

Tellico Village is home to three beautifully scenic and challenging golf courses. Each of our championship courses has its own distinctive design and personality. Golf members enjoy privileges at all three courses and have the opportunity to participate in special leagues and tournaments. Click here to read more about the community’s beautiful golf courses.
