Falling For East Tennessee

Fall in East Tennessee

Fall in East Tennessee is undecidedly a special time of year. Coolness sets in and drapes everything in crisp anticipation of the coming season.

Leaves start turning—first to a deep shade of crimson, then a lovely burnt orange before falling into pools of piles that swirl at our feet.

This is when Tellico Village residents like to take their boats out for slow rides on the lake, taking in the sites of seasons changing.

Another orange that comes out to play is Vols Orange. The University of Tennessee football team draws thousands of orange clad fans to nearby Knoxville to support the team on fall weekends. Our community is only a 40-minute drive from Knoxville, making Saturday day-trips to the city’s Market Square for shopping followed by the game an autumn tradition.

Speaking of traditions, they run strong through these parts. This time of year brings fall festivals and harvest celebrations. A weekend drive through the country roads is likely to lead you to a community gathered for music, food and fun.

Despite the cooler weather, a warmness definitely settles into our hearts for this time of year. We’d love for you to come and experience it for yourself!

Tellico Village offers specially priced visits for two that let you explore the community and surrounding area for a feel of the relaxing comfort of East Tennessee living.
