Everyday is a Celebration at the Yacht Club

Pride and hard work is at the core of what we do – every day calls for the utmost attention to detail to pull off a wonderful experience for our guests, who feel like personal friends. After all, we call them guests, because we want them to feel as comfortable as they do at home. From weddings to baptisms and even just neighbors coming together for dinner, here at the Yacht Club we are passionate about making a happy memory.

Like all events we host, weddings are very important to us. It’s your big day and we are honored to be a part of it. I enjoy the multiple meetings I have with future brides and grooms to ensure the smoothest possible outcome and feel tremendous joy when we have helped pull a special celebration together. From setup to break down, we do it all and love every step of the way.

The true setup, and some of the fun, starts the night before a wedding reception with 13 tables carefully placed in the great room draped with crisp linens. More than 100 chairs are arranged, silverware is polished and glasses are cleaned in preparation for a wonderful celebration.

On the morning of someone’s big day, I always arrive early. This way my guests can come in and decorate any way they wish. Shortly after, the rest of the team joins me to stock the bar, set up the cake station, arrange the buffets and, of course, prep the delicious meal for all to enjoy.

Throughout the night we are in a whirlwind from bussing tables to cleaning up the buffet – the list of what happens behind the scenes is endless! It truly takes a great team to complete our goal, which is allowing our guests to kick back, relax and enjoy the fantastic evening.

It’s crazy to think we have done nearly 300 personal weddings and all 300 times we have strived to maintain the same level of extreme care. Our goal at the Yacht Club is to make sure that each guest leaves wanting more. We love nothing more than being able to share the feeling of excitement when someone leaves anxious to tell their friends about the wonderful experience they just had.
