Our very own Tellico Village PGA Professional, Casey Flenniken qualified this month to compete in the Knoxville Open at Fox Den Country Club. August was quite the month for Casey. On August 1st, he was elected to membership into the PGA of America. At the pre-qualifier for the Knoxville Open, with a field of 109 players vying for 6 spots, Casey carded an amazing round of 62 with 10 birdies, 7 pars, and only 1 bogie! Casey had the largest fan following of any of the players at the tournament. Not only are we proud of him, his Villager friends and family are proud of him as well. We’re looking forward to seeing what your future holds Casey!
