Tellico Village COVID 19 Update Tellico Village is 100% Open and Restriction-Free
On April 27, 2021, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed an executive order to end statewide health orders caused by the pandemic.
“I am not renewing any public health orders because COVID-19 is no longer a health emergency in our state…We have never had a statewide mask mandate and I am removing authority from local officials to issue mask mandates. I have asked mayors in our Big 6 counties to remove any remaining mask mandates AND business restrictions before Memorial Day Weekend. This is about trusting Tennesseans, using the tools we have at our disposal to move on from crisis management and back to life and back to business. Tennessee is moving forward thanks to her people.”
As of June 1, 2021, all Tellico Village restrictions have been lifted. Visitors are welcome and tours unrestricted. We anticipate happy, free, “normal” activities and lifestyle during the balance of 2021 and beyond.
It should be noted that Loudon County (home to about 90% of Tellico Village residents) is the most vaccinated of the 95 counties in Tennessee with 52% of all residents having received at least one COVID 19 shot as of May 30, 2021.

Tellico Village Amenity Status Come Have Fun! Tellico Village is 100% Open and Restriction-Free
Living in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and on beautiful Tellico Lake, provides countless opportunities to enjoy all types of the Village’s outdoor amenities.
Our three championship golf courses have been open throughout the pandemic. And, yes, we play golf year-around. Each has a distinct playing personality and many holes on each of the courses skirt the lake. The courses:
- Tansai playing 6,731 yards;
- Toqua playing 7,049 yards
- Kahite playing 7,170 yards
There are more than 20 miles of walking and hiking trails in the community that meander through many of the Village’s neighborhoods. Surprisingly, some internal trails plunge so deep into forests that you’ll forget then many Villagers live just yards from where you are hiking.
